How to Bypass FRP on BQ Aquaris U and Aquaris U Lite: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’re locked out of your BQ Aquaris U or Aquaris U Lite due to FRP (Factory Reset Protection), don’t worry! This guide will walk you through the process of bypassing FRP and regaining access to your device. Follow these steps carefully to ensure success.

Step 1: Enable TalkBack and Access Chrome

      1. Go to the Home Page: Start by navigating to the home screen of your device.

      2. Open Vision Settings: Tap on Vision Settings > TalkBack and turn it on.

      3. Draw an “L” Shape: Use your finger to draw an “L” on the screen. Double-tap to open TalkBack Settings.

      4. Pause Feedback: Draw another “L” and double-tap to select Pause Feedback. Uncheck the box for Always show this warning and confirm by double-tapping OK.

      5. Access Help & Feedback: Scroll down and select Help & Feedback > About Switch Account Access for Android.

      6. Open Chrome: Click on the YouTube video link to launch Google Chrome. Accept the terms and select No Thanks when prompted.

Step 2: Download and Install Required Apps

1. Download TechnoCare APK: Click on this link to download the TechnoCare.apk
   file. Enable Unknown Sources to install the app. Once installed, click Done.
2. Download QuickShortcutMaker: Next, download the QuickShortcutMaker.apk from
   this link. Install and open the app.

Step 3: Modify Device Settings

       1. Access Settings via QuickShortcutMaker:

                    Scroll down in the app and select Settings > Settings                                                                                  com.android.settings/com.android.settings.Settings.

                    Click Try to launch the phone settings.

        2. Disable Find My Device:

                   Go to Security > Device Administrators.

                   Uncheck Find My Device and click Deactivate.

       3. Disable Google Play Services:

                  Navigate to Apps > Google Play Services and disable it.

       4. Add a New Google Account:

                  Go to Accounts > Add Account > Google.

                  Log in with your old Gmail account or create a new one.

Step 4: Re-enable Essential Services

1. Re-activate Find My Device:
   • Go back to Security > Device Administrators and enable Android Device Manager.
2. Re-enable Google Play Services:
   • Navigate to Apps and re-enable Google Play Services.

      3. Re-activate Find My Device:

                 Go back to Security > Device Administrators and enable Android Device Manager.

Step 5: Restart Your Device

       1. Restart Your Phone: Power off your BQ Aquaris U or U Lite and turn it back on

       2. Complete Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device normally.
